The activity that we planned is credited
to a Korean variety show called RunningMan. Since it is a very popular variety
show among the teenagers and also adults, we thought it would be a good idea to
implement their concept into our project. Hence, we produced a video to spread awareness towards every age group in the society.
NOTES: It would be easier to listen to what they are saying by wearing an earpiece!
After the self-introduction and group
division, which was separating into 2 groups; blue and white, they are required
to start running to the first game station. The group that reaches first will
be granted a chance to choose either the number 2 or number 4. They are
choosing it by choice as they do not have any hints of what it will be.
Basically, what we did was dividing the
games into 3 parts.
Part 1:
This is a quiz section. The participants
are required to tie their legs together and rush to the front and ring the bell
to get a chance to answer the questions.
The winner of this part will have a
chance to choose the materials that we provided.
Part 2:
With the materials that they have
chosen, they are required to make a recycling bag. The bag will be evaluated by
placing heavy objects and determined by the endurance and sustainability of the
bag.
The winner is given a choice to change
their number or keep their number.
Part 3:
Finding recyclable materials. The
participants hands are tied together and they will look for recyclable
materials that will weigh up to the number that they have chosen. As followed:
Number
4 – 4kg
Number
2 – 2kg
The group that lost will be faced with a
punishment. The punishment was bitter gourd blended
with a bit of water. (It taste pretty bad but bearable)
Then we reached the end of the games. It was fun and knowledgable, I would say and this is coming from a participant! Hope you enjoyed the video.
P/S: Sorry for the bad video and audio quality.
Below are some videos that we found that shows the situation of our home, the Earth.
