From this games and activities, we got to know a few new information
about recycling. That is does not only consist of making new things from old stuff
but consist of 3 process which are:
1 – Collecting the recyclable items
2 – Manufacturing: using the recyclable materials rather
than raw materials
3 – Purchase: instead of buying items that are new, we
should buy the recycle-manufactured items such as recycled pencils that are
made of newspaper.
Based on our research in the planning of the project, we
found a lot of information about the seriousness of the situation. These consist of :
how global warming occurs;
the gases discharged through
human activities such as methane gas and chlorofluorocarbons, made famous by
the ozone layer, was not thought to have a big impact on global warming as
carbon dioxide, but in the same volume, the temperature rise more compared to
carbon dioxide and that is why it is very concerning.
how serious the situation is;
the rate of sea level rises increased, longer and more
damaging wildfire, more frequent and intense heat waves, costly and health
impacts, melting ice, the potential of abrupt climate changes, etc.
The Earth’s health is diminishing with the advancement of
technologies and the increase in human activities that are harmful to the Earth.
Our Earth. We need to, at least, practice recycling in our daily life to play
our part in helping and curing our planet because for now, this is the only
planet that human being exist in. Although we do not know if the other planets
has living beings, the possibility of a planet that has oxygen to sustain
earthlings is still unknown.
Therefore, the significance of the impacts of the
ecosystem and also the atmosphere towards the existence of our kinds and also
the flora and fauna is obvious as there are more natural phenomenon occurring around
the world. Hopefully, the awareness campaigns and activities will bring an
attentiveness towards the issue.
